October 27, 2009

Global chemical manufacturer Celanese plan to increase their investment in China by expanding their plant in Nanjing, AP reported. The plant is already Celanese's biggest manufacturing center. The company say that the expanded facility will double its capacity to produce vinyl acetate ethylene, or VAE, which is used to make hot glue sticks and plastic wraps. The expansion is expected to be completed by 2011.
