China and the European Union will discuss a dumping probe targeting European wines, Reuters reported. The two sides are set to tackle accusations that French, Spanish and Italian wines are being sold for prices set below the cost of production and will address another dispute over exports of polysilicon. China and the EU last weekend struck a deal on tariffs on Chinese solar panel. Trade tensions nevertheless remain, with the EU trade commissioner Karel De Gucht saying he is ready to launch an investigation into Chinese mobile telecom equipment producers suspected of dumping and illegal subsidies.
