The Hilton has received another award, this time in Shanghai. At the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Awards 2006 the Hilton Shanghai was announced ‘Most Trusted Hotel in China’.

The Hilton Shanghai was the first luxury international hotel established in China, opened in 1988 by Hilton Hotels Corporation. The group also operates hotels in Beijing, Hefei, Chongqing and Hainan (see news below of Hilton’s awards in Hainan).

Volkmar Ruebel, general manager of Hilton Shanghai, said, ‘The award reflects our long standing commitment to providing excellent service to our guests over the past 18 years.’ (Pictured in photo on the right, on left is Simon Cholmeley, regional advertising director of Reader’s Digest Asia).
