China has sent 22,000 tons of fertilizer to Zimbabwe in its first aid shipment to the continent following the China-Africa Cooperation Forum held earlier this month in Beijing. At the forum China agreed to send a total of 200,000 tons of fertilizer to Zimbabwe. President Hu said China will double its financial assistance to Africa in the next three years.
